Saturday evenin update from Casey's foster mommy.....
Casey has had a really good day. he got up this morning like it was christmas morning! he came busting out of his crate ready for the day. we did a good pee pee and then he was ready for breakfast! he ate really well. tried to play a bit but we had to tell him no for now. he isn't allowed to play much at all right now. some rolling around with a toy is ok but otherwise no stress on his muscles or heavy breathing till the 4 weeks are up. we had company this evening and he was very glad to see Ruth and Robert. After they left he spent some time under the table washing my feet. guess i must not have taken a very good shower! i gave them a bit of a treat and now he is chewing away on a piece of rawhide. he loves loves rawhide and it keeps him very busy and his mind off of wanting to run and play. We have seen a huge improvement in his energy level. in a few more days its going to be impossible to keep him quiet! its good to see the old Casey coming back
