My brofur Gino and me says thanks!

so as many ov you may knows my brofur Gino has been very

poorly dis week. we neva really did find out for sures wot it was

but da doctor seems to think him

maybe did pick up somthin bad in da yard and eats it.

which wouldn't surprise me cuz goodness sakes dat brofur ov

mine him doos eat everythin!

so we has been nursin him back to health slowly and yesterday mornin

was da test cuz if him didn't seem betta him would have to go back

to sees da doctor!

so later on dat night Gino did have sooper bad poos and mom was
worried cuz him just didn't seem like him was gettin well fast enough,
so her called Dr John in da mornin and him did give Gino 3 new meds to take.

in da middle ov da night Gino did have a #pooclub accident but 
mommy cleaned it up and gave Gino hims meds and went back to bed.
so dis mornin Gino feels much betta yoos can just tell by da 
way him iz prancin instead ov walkin wif hims head down.

so i would likes to take da time to thanks all me and Gino's pals dat has been 

sendin me brofur Gino well wishes and prayers, and for all dem 

dat has been sittin on #Ginosporch all week!

we both luv you all so much and can't thank yoos enough for beings

here for our family........

Casey Update!!

here be an update from Casey's foster mommy!

Casey Sings!!

here is one of Casey singing his heart out. he sings now about 5-6 times a day now and sooooooo loud!! he is just a bundle of energy. still can't have his dental yet. vet says not at least until end of October. his lung he has left has to be really healthy and strong and they want the space left by the lung removed has filled in. so hopefully the end of october first of november he can have his dental. 

Casey is doing very well. we bought him a really fun squeaky toy. i tried to get pictures of him tonite playing with it. If you hit it on the floor it bounces really high and he runs and jumps in the air to catch it. he is so quick i was unable to get a picture maybe tommorrow when my husband is here. i think everyday that i can't imagine him getting more playful but it seems like everyday he does. i wanted to have a dental done soon but the vet says no not yet. he wants to make sure the space where is lung was fills in nicely and he wants to make sure the good lung is in the best condition it can be in before we put him under. he won't think about a dental until at least end of october. his teeth aren't real bad. we got lucky he has really nice teeth for an ig! yay! he is still in love with his kitty Maggie. Maggie thinks she is a dog and also thinks the whole world revolves around her. she plays with Casey and Casey loves it. they chase each other. i was worried at first but Casey is sooo very careful not to run over her. its really cute! so all in all Casey is doing better then everyone expected but all that we hoped for.

some ov you may knows dat i haz one of da greatest dads on earth but

maybe yous dont know alots about him so

i would likes to tell you a little bit abouts me dad and wot him means

to our family.....

me dad neva met an IG before him met me mom, him didnt knows

wot we even was, can you beleeves dat!!??

but as da years past him has comes to luv Italian Greyhounds like

him luvs no otha breed. even doe we drives him crazy sometimes!

BOL!

me dad iz a big dude! hims ova 6 feets tall and hims bald! hee! hee!

also me dads covered in tattoos and still addin to dem!

me dad luvs hard head bangin music just like me and 

sometimes when him rocks out wif dat music i bang me head too 

or kill me toys!

me dad iz also sooper silly and will for no reason wot soeva will

start dancin and shakin his hiney in da livinroom!

maybe dat were i gets it from! hee! hee!

me dad also luvs to rides hims bike and do exercisin, him always at da gym!

me sads sooper good at writtin and has a talent dat comes naturally

toos him. me dad also has a great singings voice, mom thinks

him sounds just like Richard Thompson! 

dad doos play wif me and Gino every night afta dinner!

every night him gets down on da floor wif us and plays toys and lets us lick

hims bald head, dis da best part ov da day for sure!

but da best thing abouts me dad iz him iz da heart ov our family.

him doos all him can to makes our lives comfortable and filled wif luv everyday.

him neva stops beings a dad and takes care ov mommy and 

me and Gino when wees poorly.

even doe me and Gino cants tells dad wif words how much we luvs him

we lets him know wif big tail wags and kisses and lickings ov hims bald head! 

BOL! ;)

dad has been here for our family through da good times and da bad, and 

yoos know wot! him always will be! him iz da foundation ov our family

and da reason we iz all so happy.

so wif all dis said i would likes to say to me dad somthin.......

you iz da best dad! you fills our life wif joy and you always put us first,

we dont say thank you much but we wants you to knows dat 

wifout you and your luv for us we would not knows how wonderful

life can be.

thanks dad, thanks for beings here, thanks for beings me and Ginos

Redi found!!

as some ov you may knows Redi da 9 year old Italian Greyhound

 has been found and him iz in

da safe carin hands ov da rescue once again, him was very weak

and banged up a bit but him gots da care him needed from da wonderful 

Florida IG Rescue and der vets and iz doin really good! 

him had such

an adventure dat hims foster parents have taken to callin him 

Harry da Master Escapist! hee hee dis cracks me up! 

even doe Redi, hee hee Harry iz still shy 

dey say he iz really comin otta hims shell and hims foster

parents say him loves to eat and sleep and hims very calm.

him has taken to cuddling wif hims foster parents and watchin 

da tv wif dem. :)

we luv you Redi/Harry and we wish you all da luck in findin your

new foreva home may you haves many more years ov adventure!

just not on your own! BOL!

Redi needs your help!  He came into IG Rescue on August 19th and got loose the morning of August 20th.  He was last seen in Miami Fl running west of 88th St (kendall drive) near 152nd Avenue.  He is very nervous and scared, if you see him do not chase him and be calm.  He needs medication And had an appointment scheduled for the 20th to receive veterinary care.  If you see him or can help search there will be a search party going out this evening,

in da beginnin......

my story and where i did comes from......

well were doos i start.....mmmmm....

i guess at da beginnin.

mom and dad did haves an Iggy named Tempeh for 15 1/2 years, 

him was der bestist freind in da whole world and filled der life wif happiness

and luv, but as Iggys do Tempeh left dem and went

 OTRB...... :(

so afta Tempeh was gone mom and dad did doos lots of cryin for 6 months,

and dey missed havin a little soul in da house so much dat it made der 

bellys feel bad all da time. so dey knew dat it was time to fill da house wif da

pitter patter ov little Iggy feets once again.

mom heard abouts me from a girl here work wif and her found out dat it was a back 

yard breeder dat was sellin puppies for furnitures and tvs and stuff yikes! mom said no way!

and a month passed......

den da laydee called mom and said i gotta get rid ov dis puppy doos you 

want him. mom was scared knowin dat i came from der her didnt wanna get involved.

but  her news dat if she didnt check it out i would end up at da pound or worser.

so dis laydee did bring me to moms work to sees me and her did brings my Iggy

mom too, her name was Shelby.

i was 4 month old and a bloo streak ov lightin! but no one could touch me

i was wild, like a wild dog from da wilderness. i also had neva see a vet

and had no shots or check ups yet, so mom knew dis was a gamble, 

but as soon as her did sees me her knew her had to help and so her called dad

and said lets both go sees dis puppy tonight!

so mom and dad did goes to da dog park to sees me and as soon as dad

was able to get close enough to me he scooped me up and said we take 

dis Iggy now! dad did almost run back to da car wif me afraid dat 

laydee would change her mind. 

so dat all dey knows abouts me otha that i had neva had a toy to play wif

or neva did i haves a chewy to chew and i could hardly be touched. 

i would run as soon as someone got close to me i was very afraid.

but mom and dad did work wif me and dey gave me so much luv dat 

i learned dat der touchin was good and would neva hurt me.

for da first time in my young life i had a foreva home and somthin told me

dis was gonna be my home for da rest ov my life.....

dis all i really remember ov my beginnin, i dont rememba too much ov it

which iz probly for da best but i tell you dis.....

i haz da best home i could eva ask for and i knows deep in my heart

dat i iz one very lucky Iggy for findings my mom and dad.

i thinks i helped dem wif da mendin ov der hearts afta Tempeh gots hims wings.

nothin fills da cracks in da heart from da loss ov a best freind like 

findin a new best freind.... all dat luv dat has no weres to go and 

gets build up and starts to cause pains, you hafta get rid ov dat luv

and da ways to do dat iz to adopt again.....

so mom and dad did fill der hearts and der home

 wif da pitter patter ov little Iggy feets once again.....

a little update from Casey's foster mom

Casey luvs Maggie hee hee :)

thought i would give you a little update. Casey is doing very well. today for the first time since surgery he has had his t-shirt off for a couple of hours and left the incision site alone! probably won't last but we are hoping. Casey has been having a case of the zoomies about 2-3 times a day now. he gets everyone riled up. he has just been feeling soooo good! we got a kitten a couple of weeks ago and i have attached some pix's of Casey and Maggie. he adores her! Casey is such a gentle soul.
